The pregnancy ball is a good tool both at the end of pregnancy, during childbirth and after the baby is born.

During the 3rd trimester, there is less room in the stomach for the baby. You can help the child's descent into the pelvis on the way, and at the same time relieve your own pelvic pain. Exercises with a pregnancy ball are a natural and safe way to help the body on its way to being ready for birth.

When labor is in progress and the contractions are tearing, the pregnancy ball is a good tool. You are often restless during contractions, and here the ball can relieve you from standing up without locking you down. It can help loosen up the pelvic muscles both before and during birth. You can sit on it and make figures of eight with your hips, lean over it, roll your hips and lean against it. It is wonderfully soft and is really good to hang on to while your partner massages your lower back. With a pregnancy ball, your stomach is allowed to hang down, while you can relax your back. It can be extremely nice.

After the birth, the ball is also brilliant if you are sad about the baby who only wants to be rocked in your arms. When your arms and legs have gradually become lead from going back and forth, you can sit on the ball and "jump". Trust me, I've spent many a late night bouncing on a ball in the living room.
