This vessel is designed with extra spaciousnessso you have the freedom to change positions and find the most comfortable position during childbirth. Thesoft, inflatable sides provides support when you need to rest, and it padded base ensures you sit comfortably – even through long contractions. With four inner handles and two outer handles, you'll always have something to hold onto, no matter how you choose to move.

You can also add rental of an extra equipment package (recommended) which contains:

1 x Alternative universal adapter for indoor tap
1 x Lid for the birth pool that keeps the heat in so you don’t have to keep topping up with hot water
1 x Floating thermometer so you can keep the water at the ideal temperature (36°–37.5°)
1 x Floor cover so you avoid splashing
1 x Extra fine-mesh fishing net so you can quickly remove any impurities from the water (Single-use – discard after use)

Deposit

When ordering, a deposit of 500,- is paid to cover any damage to the tub and accessories. The deposit is refunded when the tub has been returned. If the damage exceeds the amount paid as a deposit, an additional invoice will be sent.

Frequently Asked Questions

1. When should I order my birth pool?
It’s stressful to arrange a birth pool when time is short. We recommend ordering your birth pool well in advance to ensure it’s available for your preferred period.

2. How long is the rental period?
The rental period is 6 weeks, so you have the birth pool with you for all 5 weeks you can give birth at home, plus 1 extra week. We recommend booking so that you have a couple of extra days at each “end” of your due-date period.

3. What is included in the rental price?
The rental price includes the birth pool, storage bag, air pump, hose for filling, hose for emptying, tap connector, water pump for emptying, repair kit, instructions and manuals. If you need help you can just call us – that’s included in the price too. 😊

4. Is it necessary to purchase a disposable liner?
Yes, for hygiene reasons it is mandatory to purchase a disposable liner to ensure a safe and clean birth experience.

5. Is shipping not free?
Unfortunately, we cannot offer free shipping on birth pool rentals. Shipping must be selected here on the product page.

6. Do I have to pay a deposit?
Yes, you must pay a deposit of 500,- which covers any damage to the pool and accessories. The deposit is refunded when the pool has been returned to us.

7. How does delivery and return work?
You can choose to collect the pool for free in Silkeborg or have it delivered either to your nearest parcel shop or to your address. Returning it is easy – simply scan the QR code on the instructions and you can book your free return label. The parcel must be handed in at a parcel shop. Unfortunately, we do not offer home pickup.

8. What if I can’t find an available rental period online?
Send us an email at kontakt@homeborn.dk – we’ll be happy to double-check whether a pool might still be available.

9. What happens if I want to cancel my rental?
The deposit is not refunded in case of cancellation, but the rest of the rental fee can be refunded if you cancel in time (no later than 7 days before the rental period starts).

10. How do I set up the birth pool?
It’s easy to inflate the pool with the supplied air pump and fill it using the hose. A detailed manual is included in the package.

11. Can I rent extra accessories?
Yes, we offer an accessory package that includes, among other things, a lid for the pool, waterproof underlay, thermometer and fishing net, giving you an even more comfortable experience.

12. What if the pool is damaged during the rental period?
If any damage occurs, the deposit covers possible repairs/replacement of products. In rare cases where the damage exceeds the deposit amount, an additional invoice will be sent. Contact us if you experience any problems.

You can pick up and return the package for free at Homeborn in Silkeborg. If the package needs to be shipped, you must purchase shipping here on the product page. The price covers round trip. You can choose between delivery to your door or to a parcel shop. Returns are always via parcel shop. There is no free shipping on rental birthing pools.
